Shoutout to my brothers Jesus and AJ.

I love you guys. F’real.

I did a lot of thinking this weekend and a lot of it was of my relationship with my my step sisters’ boyfriends. It’s a friendship, a sibling relationship that I can’t compare with anything else I’ve ever had in my life.

And I have to say, I feel so blessed to have this kind of bond with someone. Two, at that.

From the beginning, they treated me different from how other people did. Friends and family have always treated me as someone older or someone younger and never really as an equal. That changed when I became close with Jesus and AJ.

Whether or not I was capable of doing it, they always had me help them with moving heavy shit, be a part of their “missions” as we call them, and even though they were older, they just treated me as one of their own. They embraced me. And it took me forever to realize that they have done that for me since I was 15 years old.

These (sometimes) grown boys just completely took me in as a brother and went about life as if I grew up with them. We get keyed together, we drive together, learn together, raise kids together, and hell, we live life together.

It’s like growing up with two brothers. It is growing up with two brothers.
